Lost Ark: Sharpshooter Best Builds

Below is a sample skillset for a 240-300 skill point Deadeye build suitable for starter-level Raids. We will cover specific PvE, PvP, Leveling and endgame build guides in our more advanced Deadeye build guide.

Like the Gunslinger, the Deadeye class has a weapon stance switch as its identity gauge and skill. Mastering Deadeye is all about knowing when to rotate abilities, manage buffs and debuffs , and keep your weapon stance changing to maximize cooldown reduction and timing .

The Sharpshooter, like other Gunner classes, likes Crit damage, especially with the build above. At level 3, Keen Blunt Weapon provides a boost of 50% crit damage. That's massive.

Loyal Companion

Starting out, you'll only be able to clear the first raid level of Guardians. To unlock additional raid levels, you'll need to complete all subsequent Guardian Raids. For example, to unlock raid level two, you'll need to complete all four Guardian Raids at raid level one. Tiers are broken down as follows:

This is the simple stuff. You've just hit level 50 and you want a build that will help you clear the first dungeons. Don't worry. You don't need anything too complex to get through your first runs. This build is designed to make the most of the Sharpshooter's great damage , a mix of AoE skills , some Elite-focused abilities , and a simple rotation of abilities , and a pretty straightforward choice between the two class Engravings - Loyal Companion or Death Strike .

Despite these positives, Deadeye is not the easiest class to play . His kit relies heavily on back attacks and, despite being a ranged character, his main damage-dealing abilities do drop off at longer ranges. A recent buff has encouraged players to try out pistol and rifle builds, but the shotgun still reigns supreme for close-range burst damage.

Guardian Raids allow you to harvest a Guardian's soul upon completing, granting you a shower of loot. You can only harvest a Guardian's soul twice per day per character. Similar to Chaos Dungeons, it's possible to farm Guardian Raids more than twice per day, but your subsequent clears won't give as much loot unit the weekly reset.

Even after some buffs to the Pistols, removing two thirds of your kit with the Pistoleer Engraving feels pretty bad on the Deadeye. It's not the meme it once was, and you can use it to clear a lot of the content in the game, but it still feels weak in comparison, and more importantly, pretty boring. In general, the Bard is better at healing than the Paladin, but the Paladin's skills are slightly easier to use. Bards rely heavily on their Identity skill and short-range skills to buff their allies, leading to more decision-making in combat. Paladins have much forgiving support skills, on average covering a larger radius when compared to the Bard. This class might have less punchy heals than the Bard, yet Paladin is the only support class in NA/EU that can cleanse debuffs.

Guardian Raids are unlocked upon reaching level 50 and completing the "Guardian Raid Qualification Certificate" guide quest. You can find the quest in North Vern. If it's not available to you, be sure you've finished the Chaos Dungeon guide quest. To queue for a Guardian Raid, head to the minimap icon that looks like a red banner in any major city.
