The original launch date of Apex Legends on mobile was set for late 2020 , however it has become increasingly clear as the months pass that the game will not meet that date. As such, EA has decided to be a bit less tight-lipped regarding the project, as the company’s CEO Andrew Wilson has mentioned a delay for Apex Legends ’ mobile version. In a section on EA’s website discussing quarterly earnings, the delay was officially announced, and the mobile game was confirmed to have a new estimated completion date of early 2


But that's not the only expansion being cooked up, as later in the press release Bethesda mentions it has "even bigger things on the horizon." These bigger things will come in the form of a big expansion that will arrive early this summer and come packed with a huge new set Arena Of Valor hero guide cards, new mechanics and more. Recently, Respawn Entertainment made changes to Apex Legends ' new Battle Pass in response to the player backlash. A new job listing on Respawn Entertainment's website seems to suggest that a mobile version of Apex Legends is currently in the works. While the job listing itself says the company is looking for a senior game designer to work on "unannounced mobile games," it is under the Apex Legends section of the site, making it pretty obvious that the games in question are likely related to Apex Legen


This job listing could be seen as relatively good news as fans of Apex Legends have criticized the game in the past for its extensive and seemingly overpriced microtransactions.
