Fortnite has had a ton of in-game events with the biggest being the end-of-season events that transition the game into its next season. These events draw a massive number of players and always see the return of some of the internet's largest streamers. These streamers flock to Fortnite for the content before returning to whatever they usually play as Fortnite 's end-of-season events can draw a lot of views. Now, not every returning creator will be able to reap the benefits of participating in this event if they aren't a Support-A-Creator mem

The Fortnite Team published a blog post on the Epic Games website that outlined the details for the Nexus War event. The blog post was later updated to include the guidelines for Content Creators who intend to make YouTube videos of their perspective of the event. According to Epic Games, Support-A-Creator members will be able to " host VOD content " from the event if they have linked their YouTube and SAC accounts. This has to be done by contacting Epic Game's Player Support. The post states that content creators are able to publish these videos due to a partnership with Lickd, a commercial music licensing platform. It is then expressly stated that content creators who are not a part of the Support-A-Creator program will not be able to monetize their content, but can still publish unmonetized vid

Fortnite's end of season events tend to draw a large number of players due to the high-quality display of in-game visuals and the fear of missing out on a one-time opportunity. Fortnite has held many one-time events unrelated to a season's storyline, and have drawn even larger crowds when offering free cosmetic items for those who attend. Recent events, like big-name, in-game concerts , have been spread out over a number of days to help mitigate the number of players that flood the servers. However, Fortnite has a spotty track record with failing servers and limited player slots, making one-time events frustrating for those who can't attend due to technical err

At its launch, the story behind Fortnite's premise was simple: an organization called IO created a battle royale island using Zero Point, a giant ball of energy that connected realities, allowing players to drop into the map and fight back the storm overtaking the island. One day, a meteor appeared in the sky, growing closer each day until it hit the island. While much of Fortnite's island was destroyed or reshaped by the impact, many of the meteoric fragments contained special pow

As is common for games in the battle royale genre, Fortnite is updated regularly, bringing in map changes, new weapons, unique characters and story continuation. Fortnite just began Chapter 2 Season 7, and each Fortnite season lasts an average of 11 weeks. If Chapter 2 mimics Chapter 1 with a total of 10 seasons, Fortnite is only three seasons away from a complete map reset. The in-game narrative has been a wild - at times unbelievable - ride over the past four years since the game's launch, but here are all the major plot points that have happened in Fortnite so

Fortnite has hinted at crossovers in this way before, with tweets that give out hints. Rick Sanchez was hinted in this way on June 7, just before his character was transported into the Fortnite Universe. Fortnite did it again with Thanos, though it was unclear when the first tweet was posted whether a skin or an event was incoming. Fortnite hit fans with b

These restrictions are likely due to the alleged use of copyrighted audio that is supposed to play during the event. However, even Support-A-Creator Fpsfrontier.com members are limited to how long they can monetize their videos of the event. Epic Games stated that videos from the Galactus event will remain monetized for 90 days, after which the videos will automatically be demonetized without issuing a takedown notification. Anyone who plans on uploading their reaction videos to YouTube will want to ensure their Support-A-Creator account is linked to their YouTube account before December 1st at 1 p.m. P

In spectacular Fortnite fashion, the game devs first posted a not-so-cryptic tweet that pays homage to Thanos and his sinister line in Avengers: Endgame . " He is inevitable… " the tweet reads, followed by six colored circles that likely represent the infinity stones. The tease was just a tease, until just over an hour later, Fortnite confirmed Thanos's return, and that players will be able to compete for a chance to win the Thanos Outfit and Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling inspired by the MCU's Avengers: Engage . The item will then release in the item s

Video game fan creativity has certainly extended to faithful recreations like this before, too. For instance, one dedicated fan built a whole Mario Kart track inside Breath of the Wild . This is clearly more of a promotional endeavor than that passion project, but that doesn't make it any less important to the people who worked on it. 100 Thieves was clearly very proud of its Cash App Compound when it revealed the real thing, and this faithful _Fortnite _ recreation is nothing to sneer at. It's just more evidence of how many amazing things can be done in the world of video ga
