Ascent: Infinite Realm's site also lists the character classes that the game will offer: Sorceress, mystic, warlord, assassin, and gunslinger. Perhaps the future reveal of subclasses (each class will have two of them) will deepen and diversify gameplay opti

However, if the mobile port of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a flop, then it may stay exclusive to China. We have no idea what kind of changes Tencent will have to implement to make PUBG play well on a mobile platform, and it could potentially compromise the spirit of the game. Similar concerns have been raised about other modifications Tencent is making to Pubg News , including alterations to promote "socialist core values" in order for it to release in Ch

Remember when there was talk about the Xbox One X enhanced version of PUBG hitting 60 fps before it was corrected and stated that it'd only run at 30? Maybe someone misheard "16." You'd be lucky to get that at the start of a match. It's unbelievable that this game was allowed to be released in this state on consoles, no matter how many disclaimers are built into the m

In fact, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is built entirely around violence, with up to one hundred players scavenging for weapons and murdering each other in an attempt to be the last player standing. The concept has proven popular enough to make the game one of the most popular Steam games ever , and surpassing 4 million copies sold at last co

The point of that story is to attempt to explain why I think even the threat of violence is not something that should be joked about. Given my experience in college, and the fact that The Doc’s threat, even as a joke, synced up closely to a bad experience I endured, it could have brought up bad memories, triggered a panic attack or had other consequences The Doc might not have intended when composing the tw

A trailer for the game - seen above - clocks in at over five minutes — and shows off quite a bit. There are indeed airships and dragons, along with jetpack-like boosters, gatling guns, mechs, and estate-building. At various points throughout the trailer, players can be seen taking control of airships, be it as pilots or turret gunners. The website suggests that PvP airship combat will be a staple of the game, explaining that "Using airships, flying mounts, or free falling, you can experience multi-dimensional battles through warfare in the open s

At first, Greene seemed to be playing along with Dr DisRespect, but then took offense to DisRespect's threat of violence. Greene released a lengthy statement addressing the issue, admitting that Dr DisRespect's comments were likely facetious in nature, but even so, they hit close to home due to an unpleasant experience Greene had in the p

On top of the mobile game and the landmark PC release, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is also scheduled to make its console debut sooner rather than later. As announced at E3 earlier this year, PUBG is releasing in early access as an Xbox One console exclusive on December 12th. Out of all the versions of the game, it will be interesting to see which one becomes the most popular when it's all said and d

Performance aside, PUBG is simply a bad "shooter" with an awful control scheme on Xbox. Reloading a weapon for instance in the heat of battle requires players to hold down the 'X' button instead of just pressing it quickly. Aiming down sites isn't holding down the left trigger, it's tapping it. Inexplicable, holding down the trigger instead just slightly tightens the crosshair (it does the same on PC). Sometimes it won't even work unless it's tapped perfectly. Getting in and out of vehicles are two separate buttons and if you want to pick up a specific item from a pile of loot on the ground or move mods from one weapon to another, you better hide yourself for a few minutes. PUBG does not work well on consoles at all in its current state and needs another year in the oven. Even the little things, like basic matchmaking problems with friends or typos in the menus, aren't addressed. It's the sloppiest award-winning game, and the poorest performing shooter we've seen on current generation conso

A few days ago, it was announced that large Chinese video game publisher Tencent would be bringing the wildly popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to China in an official capacity. Today the company announced that not only is it releasing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in the region, it is also creating a mobile version of the g

Greene's point is that Dr DisRespect's threat of violence could have triggered bad memories due to his traumatic experience, and that this potential to upset people should make violence off limits for jokes. Greene's stance is certainly understandable considering what happened to him in the past, but some people may point out that his game makes light of violence itself, using violence as a tool for entertainm
