The Doctor can use Shock Therapy to increase the Madness of nearby survivors, or use a concentrated shock blast to greatly increase the Madness. The Doctor also has one of the best (and most annoying for survivors) slowdown perk in the game: Overcharge. This perk will cause the generator to have an extremely difficult skill check after the Doctor damages it, and it will set the generator back a considerable amo


The Nightmare - The Nightmare, or more commonly known as Freddy Krueger, ranks at the top of the list for a number of reasons, almost hilariously so considering how low he sat on the tier lists for so such a long time. For many survivors, Freddy has earned the "Nightmare" name due to the difficulty of playing against him. While survivors are awake, they will be unable to see Freddy if he is further than 32 meters away. From 16 to 32 meters away, they will intermittently see him, and if he is 16 meters or closer then survivors will see him and hear his terror rad


Killer Instinct essentially allows Legion to find Survivor's locations in his terror radius. When Legion inflicts Deep Wound on an enemy the Killer can see all Survivors who have not been hit with Deep wound affliction. Essentially giving Legion the ability to scout out all Survivor's locations. This plays well to his increased run speed as he is able to quickly chain together rapid bursts of Deep Wound attacks on almost all the Survivors. Making Legion a near impossible Killer to hide from when he gets momentum in his fa


Since Hex: Retribution causes the Oblivious status in survivors that cleanse dull totems and reveals the location of all survivors when cleaning a Hex totem, pairing both perks together will force players to think twice about cleansing anything, and the same could be said about other Hex perks like Haunted Grounds, Ruin, and others. It’s usefulness will depend on rank and survivor coordination, and what else can be paired with it. At the very least, the popular use of NOED makes this a decent perk to use, even if only sparingly to keep survivors guess


Dead by daylight escape Tips by Daylight is a great game to have such an option because of the new characters they are adding every year. Of course, players can also just purchase the new killers or survivor packages outright without having to deal with the battle p


The Shrine

The Shrine is fundamentally used to unlock 'Teachable Perks' that are available every week. Around midnight every Wednesday, The Shrine resets itself and there are four new 'Teachable Perks' available for purchase for the next 7 days. Teachable Perks are basically used to unlock the possibility to receive unique perks for characters while in the Bloodweb. Even though these perks can be unlocked at level 30-40 by simply partaking in the Bloodweb, The Shrine is a good alternative by purchasing them with 'Iridescent Shards.' These shards can be collected by completing trails and slowly building them up. The higher the player's level, the more shards will be rewarded. When these perks appear in the Shrine, they cost around 2,000-2,700 Iridescent Shards. Deathslinger's The Redeemer is a powerful long-ranged harpoon that allows the killer to launch a spear attached to a chain in an enemy's body. Once launched the Deathslinger can reel the survivor in and dish out a powerful blow downing the player. This makes the Deathslinger one of the few ranged killers within the cast. Making avoiding the character a near impossibil


These moments create jump scares that are not planned by the developers. They simply occur from the community. Additionally, getting chased down by a killer and seeing the red light slowly appear on your back gives you goosebumps and a shi


The allure of this killer's harpoon is extremely prevalent for a new player. The idea that this killer can snatch a survivor and dish out extreme damage is one which any killer player would be head over heels for. But given the skills large punishment for a missed or broken harpoon shot, it is important that the technique is not used reckles
